Long before the rise of humankind, there was Life and Death,

and from them, the universe was born.

When the humans came, so did the gods.

Then came the Hierarchy.

Forged from the will of those with the least physical strength,

the Hierarchy proved to be the strongest force of all.

 

Over time, power levels rose and fell,

and the Hierarchy changed with them. But, one thing remained the same: there were always those that weren’t happy with their place.

What happens when that power is threatened once again?

Will they let it go like they have so many times before,

or will they push for what they believe is rightfully theirs?

 

Will they fight? If they burn the world down,

who will be left standing at the end of the line?

One thing is clear… There’s nothing but Death standing in their way.
